I'm just curious, does the program feel faster? I'm on a Mac Pro dual quad core and granted the program has never been slow, but now it slams the pictures up on the screen.
Just wondering?
Hendrik, it simply gives you access to the new camera profiles (which were beta so far) in the Camera Calibration panel of the Develop module, so that you can apply these profiles to your RAW files as you see fit. By default the camera profile was ACR 4.4 in LR2, I don't see any reason why your old files should jump to a new camera profile on their own - at least mine didn't when I upgraded to 2.2 - it's only a new option so it should be safe. And even then you can easily revert it and come back to the ACR 4.4 profile for your old files.
