Anyone use this lens?

I finally found one at a good price. I really like my 35-70, but often I want more than 70. Like the 35-70 the wide open is pretty amazing. I hope my copy is close to the published MTF.

I've always been looking for this lens, and very curious about the results... can you post pics and crops once you've got a good grip on it?

And by the way, what was the "good price"? All the ones I've seen on ebay had a quite prohibitive price!

I have used this lens, and it is one of Contax's sharpest zooms. At 35mm the lens is at its best at f/8.0 but as you approach 135mm the lens is optimized for wide open performance! It's big, heavy and has superb IQ

Since it's not very common, the price probably varies a lot. I don't know if this is a good price, but its the best price I've seen on one in very good condition. By spec it's probably the best zoom made that goes from wide to over 100mm.
