Nice bow!!
Perfectly tied showing good use of the ribbon. A superbly composed and balanced pair of loops!!
Adam, that's hilarious. Since this is a shot about a ribbon with pair of loops, I'm glad to see you appreciate it. ;-)

Bev, it seems to me that what really makes this work so well is the very close perspective.
How often do we see a portrait (and I'd argue that it is a kind of portrait) done effectively with a wide angle?
We see 24mm shots taken 6 inches from someone's nose (ok if you want the odd effect), and 200mm shots of a partial face.
32mm is not unusual for a full body shot, but I think it's cool to find that some parts of the body look nice in a 2 dimensional image taken from close range.
Get close to someone you love and look at them when your noses are less than a foot apart. You'll see them the way your mind is accustomed to seeing them, but now really look as if you were a camera. Ooh, you probably don't want to put your lens there!
Sorry to ramble off topic, especially since this is all old hat to any portrait photographer. But Bev, look how your shot has gotten me thinking!
