This is my first entry ever, I am looking to try to expand myself as I shoot mostly sports now and I figure this will be a great way to get feedback that will help me grow.

Rounded point and rounded characters - you've got the concept!
My only suggestions would be to try a more off-center composition (the wax pencil needs to point toward the lens, but it doesn't have to be at the center of the frame) and maybe to try more contrast to get some small areas of true black.

Thanks for the feedback, Great point Photon, I spend most of my time centering things with the sports, I need to get back to thirds :-)

Nice concept. My suggestion would be to increase the contrast; if the paper is white make it look more white than gray, then the darker pencil will really pop!
