A new North-West Swell filled into Oahu's North Shore on Friday evening, I showed up at the beach the next morning at Pipe after I got a call that the Bay was not happening and no Eddie....It was mostly cloudy with sporadic direct morning light sneaking through the clouds, the swell was big and dangerous with lots of closouts because the sand still has not shifted out..

Very nice set. What an incredible difference the light makes in #2. Looks like Friday was really pumping too. Looks like a much better run of swells compared to last year. I will be out your way on Friday I hope the swells keep coming.

I was waiting for these photos to come up. I didn't have a chance to photograph the swell here on Vancouver Island but I'll be out tomorrow morning. Hopefully I'll have some photos to show for it. 13 feet at 16 seconds is pretty rare here. Can't wait to take some pics and get in the water as well.
