Hi Carolyn,

I love the expanding concentric circles you have created it this shot. Such a simple and elegant image, but it is more than that too. Good luck this week.

Best wishes,

Steve S.

What better than a nice shot and being able to eat your work too.

Nice and simple, Carolyn!
I might not cut of that bit of bowl on the right. (do you have an un-cropped version?)

ps - I'm tempted to draw a smiley-face on the egg yolk.

Carolyn, I like everything about it except the nip on the right side of the bowl. I hate to be so boring in my comments, but all I can do is agree with the others, particularly with all the positive reactions. Good luck!

I like the new entry, and it's quite different from anyone else's to boot.
Love the careful crop on the left - the bare minimum of neck is great because it emphasizes the curve.
Only thing that's not rounded is the tattoo!

Hi Carolyn,

I like this new entry too. I think I liked the idea of the first one better, but the execution here a bit better. I think both are worthy entries.

Best wishes,

Steve S.

Fine shot, Carolyn! Very different - outside the box photo! I agree with Jess about the fascinating crop. Fine work!

All best wishes,

Endre

Carolyn,
I like this idea. Nicely lit, and rounded!
One picky thing: The background looks grey (unless it's my monitor) - which I think dulls the image a bit. I think it might pop a bit more with a white background or a black bg. for more contrast. Just a thought.
Cool image, Carolyn! (and helpful nephew!)

I followed your advice..is this a bit better or should I go with black? Thanks for your input. Carolyn

Hi Carolyn, Great just the way it is now. White out the neck stretch and maybe a little beathing space above the knuckles. This may help. Great entry

Ditto.
Then, I think, you're done.
Good job, Carolyn!

I tried to get the knuckle a bit more room..but that is the best I could do with leaving it looking "normal". Thanks for the input Mike.
