I love the expanding concentric circles you have created it this shot. Such a simple and elegant image, but it is more than that too. Good luck this week.
Carolyn, I like everything about it except the nip on the right side of the bowl. I hate to be so boring in my comments, but all I can do is agree with the others, particularly with all the positive reactions. Good luck!

Carroll, I had the same thought after I saw it...a smiley face would be cute for sure..as for another pic..no this was as taken..but I have another egg...maybetomorrow I can reshoot it. Look for it if you will and thanks for the suggestions, Carolyn

No please, this is why I am here..I am trying to learn and with all this talent on this site...I should be able to learn something so know I really do appreciate calling it as you see it. I am going to reshoot tomorrow...thanks again..Carolyn
I like the new entry, and it's quite different from anyone else's to boot.
Love the careful crop on the left - the bare minimum of neck is great because it emphasizes the curve.
Only thing that's not rounded is the tattoo!

Carolyn,
I like this idea. Nicely lit, and rounded!
One picky thing: The background looks grey (unless it's my monitor) - which I think dulls the image a bit. I think it might pop a bit more with a white background or a black bg. for more contrast. Just a thought.
Cool image, Carolyn! (and helpful nephew!)

I followed your advice..is this a bit better or should I go with black? Thanks for your input. Carolyn

Hi Carolyn, Great just the way it is now. White out the neck stretch and maybe a little beathing space above the knuckles. This may help. Great entry
i agree about removing the thin strip of neck and adding space above the knuckles.

Ditto.
Then, I think, you're done.
Good job, Carolyn!

I tried to get the knuckle a bit more room..but that is the best I could do with leaving it looking "normal". Thanks for the input Mike.
