I was able to get away for another evening at the beach for a little photography :-) and lucked out with another colorful sunset. I am still trying to shake the cobwebs out a little bit, but had a great time and it’s always fun to run back and forth with the tide, trying to set up a shot and not have the tripod vibrate when sinking in the sand in the middle of the exposure or get soaked when the tide comes back… of course both happened more than a few times
Excellent job Lance! I have been wanting to get down onto Indian for a while now, but it seems I get hung up at Cannon for the few days I am usually down for. A quick question about access to Indian Beach. Do you take the trail down from the main parking lot at Ecola or is there a quicker route down. How many minutes does it take you to get down or back up in the dark. Thanks in advance.
I love the first a bit more as it feels like the wider view is fighting itself for a focal point.

Hi Ian, I park in the Indian beach parking lot and hike down across the beach and up and over a small cliff/hill, it can be pretty slippery and a little muddy, but it is usually not that bad and takes about 15 to 20 minutes. There is little trails carved into the hillside. Let me know if you have any other question

Awesome! The first image already is a stunner, but the second blew me away! Great work here. As usual, I'd really like to know which white balance you've used? Thanks.

Hi Robin,
Thanks for the kind words! I used custom white balance on both, 5600, +18 tint on #1 and 8000, +23 tint on #2.

Lance,
Excellent comps, action and color. I might darken them a bit and try to reduce the sun hot spot in #2. Overall very strong images
Thanks Phil, I appreciate your comments and advice, I will have to check my monitors brightness and recalibrate, cause I almost thought they were to dark.
