p.1 #1 · Kirk BH-3 + RRS BS AS II Clamp

I have the original Kirk BH-3 and I would like to upgrade to the RRS BS AS II Clamp. Does anyone know if this is possible and how easy it is?

generally the clamp just screws onto the ball w/ some Loctite.

I have essentially the same thing, but with an LR-II -- it's the same clamp, but with a 3/8" female thread. With a 1/4" to 3/8" bushing, it threads right onto my BH-3.
