Michael, I can completely understand your feelings. Our dog is our "child", and even though we've always known that a canine life span is shorter than human, when the end comes it will be devastating.
Thanks for sharing. If you'd like to tell us about Mandy, many of us would be interested.
The photos, original and memorial, are beautiful.
Thanks for the comments. I wish I would have more time to work on this image and develop it, but time seems to get away from me. The original image is of "Mandy" at about 11 years of age, taken by me, as a gift for my wife. She now hangs proudly in our home.
Thanks again for the comments.

They love us so unconditionally. I know how you miss her. When we had to put down Nikki it was I who balled my eyes out as she stared at me just typing these words upsets me and it was 6 years ago. What a great tribute.
Thanks... I know last night there was a flood of emotion in the house. Even during the shooting I mentioned that Mandy is probably looking down on us.

Thanks. I looked at both the color and B&W for a long time, but felt the conversion was a much better way to go. I am glad you liked it. I would prefer that the frame wasn't angled, but was pressed for time.
Thanks again.
Beverly,
Thanks. They truly become one of the family don't they and no matter what kind of mood you are in, they are always there to support you and give you love.
Thanks.
