This is Tarzan, our half-year-old cat, while experiencing his first ever snow.

He looks very sneaky! My wife is still afraid to let the cats outside to roam around. Nice picture!

The stalking posture and the eye contact are great features. I think it could have been better if you'd included the arch of Tarzan's back. I don't mind the blade of grass in front of his legs, and overall this is an effective shot.
Since he's a young cat, I foresee many opportunities for great photos as your pet matures!

Spada: We got him used to the garden by bringing him on outside on leash. After several outings he would know the garden and find back to the door. Cats are very good at this.

Photon: Indeed, the arch of his back would eventually improve the shot, but it could also take the view away to the background. Anyway, it was a rather quick transit without leaving time for me to change my position otherwise than going down to achieve eye level.
And yes, there will be many more occasions, but nevermore will it be his first time snow.

Love it! The bit of snow against the black fur and the lumbering posture is very cool. Gorgeous kitty.

You've captured him in a WONDERFUL stalking stance - I love it!
Wish we could see the top of his back, though.
