Nice job jumping right in! I like that you were willing to move right in on the interesting placement of her paws and didn't worry about losing her face. The tilt and the lines of the sofa cushions also add to the effective composition.

Welcome! I am pretty new too to the FM Weekly/Monthly and so far everyone has been super nice and helpful.

I agree with Photon, I like the unusual approach to the "pet" topic. The back/blurry of the body is slightly distracting (as well as that teensy piece of ... ear? ... at the top of the frame), but it doesn't ruin it or anything. The sepia conversion is wonderful.

Hi! Thanks for the complements. This forum is great and sparks creativity! I especially like the thoughts. It beats the typical Flickr short comments like "nice" and "great shot"... but what about it makes it nice? Thanks again, guys!
