I can't seem to find the minimum interval between exposures for the Canon TC-80N3.
The EOS Mac software has a minimum interval of 5s, I'm concerned that the TC-80N3 controller cannot be more frequent; could anyone confirm the minimum time between exposures?
Actually the minimum interval between shots should be considered 1 second, not zero seconds. It can be set to zero, but there is a disclaimer in the instructions that says that you should not use zero.
Minimal interval with the TC-80N3 is 1s. Setting it to 0 disables the cycling function.
When taking star trail photos it's surprising when you first realise how far the stars move in 1 second! It is possible to work around in that situation with a little post-processing, but the bottom line is the minimal interval is 1s.
