In spite of the 1/2 missing wing I prefer #3 too.
Now it's a matter of time before they return, but I'll post some more before spring

A mighty BIG welcome from me too Love the details you captured in the last flight shots.. Wish the wings weren't clipped but understand completely that you can't always fit them fully in the frame.

Actually, the clipped wing is the result of cropping the original photo.
I got unusual detail on this shot (at least for my standards ) which would otherwise be less noticed...
