hey all ... i'm a total lurker here who enjoys photography as a hobby. i'm constantly impressed with everyone's work here, so i figured this would be a good place to ask. I just got engaged and my fiance and I will be getting married in Connecticut next November. We've been speaking with local photographers, but havent been 'blown away' by too much yet. Do any of you work in the area? Do you know of anyone who works in the area that you have been impressed with?

wow ... i just wanted to take a second to thank everyone for all of their responses. I've gotten a bunch of PMs and e-mails in addition to the posts here, and they have all been very helpful! My fiance and I are now feeling a lot better about what our options are, and will probably be in touch with some of you.
