As you can see...This lens rocks. I love it and I am pretty sure it will be stuck on my 5d for a while. I have the mark II version and although the af is a tad slow I dont find it to be that noticable or restrictive. I would love to know what you all think of my first day out with the lens!
Congrats on your sweet purchase! I like #2 and the last one. I rented this lens for a wedding. Amazing. As you mentioned, the AF is slow. I shoot a lot of active kids, so it has a hard time keeping up. Otherwise, it'd be in my bag right now! Enjoy your lens!
nice pictures, they look great! i really like the icecream cone. my 85 1.2L just came in the mail today too along with a 35 1.4L, so pumped. can't wait to get a used 1ds iii which i plan on doing within the next few weeks. i will probably be living on the street in a few months from debt but i dont care
