p.1 #1 · mamiya Canon shift adaptor

Hi guys,

Has anyone bought any of the 'cheaper' Mamiya 645 to Canon shift adaptors on ebay?
I know the product may be a bit rough around the edges but good feedback for the sellers?

The dvd technic site, which I assume are the same adaptors, only show the pentacon ones.

It's just a way into this for me until I pick up a mirex / zork system for the Mamiya lenses.

(I did also look at going the pentax lens route but who knows if a 35mm lens will come up...and the overall cost of 3 lenses is much more...and no cheapo shift adaptor to get going with)

Cheers,

Marc

I used a generic M645 to EOS shift adapter from grizzly33bear on eBay. It did the job well enough for me to realize that a more expensive Mirex Tilt-Shift adapter was right for me. It's a great way to get into trouble, I mean perspective control...

I have a Mirex for my Blad lenses ( 40,50, 60 and 120mm) - never gets used anymore as I just shoot with a fixed lens and stitch with PTgui which gives me better quality and more movement. I don't use tilt so if this is important you will need an adapter.

same as shirozina here, but with a PSA from Zörk, instead of a Mirex.

David, I used it with the 35/3.5N and 80/2.8N/L, which were my first two M645 lenses. Jim.

Thanks guys,
I know all about shifting, stitching etc...just wanted to check on the specific adaptors as a stop gap.

Cheers,

Marc
