Good evening. I have been lurking here for some time, but this is my first post. I appreciate the work that you all put in to giving constructive criticism here. So here goes nuthin'...
The weather in Seattle was great this weekend and I went to the zoo with friends. I am learning to use my new-to-me Nikon D80 with the 70-200mm lens. All day I kept struggling to get the images sharp as the lens feels heavier than the body of the camera.
This Oyrx was shot at 200mm, aperature priority f4.5, 1/60th, circular polarizer, and ISO 100. Handheld.
I kept puzzling why my shutter speeds were so slow until I realized that I should have upped the ISO speed. That was after I got home of course! Ah well, I won't forget that again.
