Don't see the particular harm. I did find it amusing and yes I read it for the first time today.
My name is quite common so in spite of being several work related articles per year, I never show on the first few pages even when entering my profession in addition to my name. I guess it can be a blessing.
I just didn't want my clients finding out my big whitey had been infested with bugs lol. MY problem was solved a long time ago, but the first impression to me being a client would be: "This guy is full of bugs. Will my albums have bugs too?"
haha!! You guys are something else..thanks for the support, it was freaky when I saw huge bugs in my viewfinder and entertaining after I found the solution to kill them!
I sold those lenses anyways and changed all of my gear. My Think Tank bag spent about 5 days outside in the cold after I emptied down the entire dust mite killer bottle on it! They haven't come back yet, but now I keep my bag in a secure place and out of dust.
Ahh lesson learned..never buy used stuff that's been collecting dust for years..
Thanks Italo, I did enjoy that thread a lot, and it was a pleasure to read it again.
Now about Google indexing that thread... I am afraid there is no bug in Google (pun intended ), that is just a feature and you have to live with it.
