Been awhile since I have posted a WA. This is a > 2x shot of the edge of my wine glass. Please critique. I took many variations on this theme, and I have temporarily settled on this angle, comp, exposure, awaiting feedback

Bravo on this attempt which has brought about an interesting minimalist image. For personal taste I think I would like to see more of the rim so as to perhaps give more of an obvious connection to glass.

Welcome back I think this is a great shot, I love its simplicity and colour, and the subtle lighting is just right. However like my shot this week the connection to glass may not be obvious without the explanation.

Thanks so much for the feedback. I did take a few shots at lower magnification that include more of the curve of the glass. I'll try to put one up later this evening.
