Someone has to start, right? I took a macro of a glass after I was finished with the contents

Just to clarify, this is the outside surface of the glass, area of one square inch.
The glass is empty, the color comes partially from the wooden table, partially from wrong white balance (too warm)

Makes for a wonderful patterned abstract but what on earth were you drinking? Are you still with us?

That is the coolest texture and I love the rich color. I have to ask as well....what was in that glass?

Some sort of heavy ale?

Thanks Bill.. I'm still here, drinking more of the same

I did drink beer, but at the time of taking the pic the glass was already empty,
the color comes from wood mainly (the loudspeaker the glass was on)

No, just some normal lager... the pic if from the poutside, the pattern on the glass
