Thanks Endre. This is the first shot out my new studio, and coffee has played a major role in keeping me going. I hardly touched the cameras the whole month of October (and the second half of September)...maybe only 5 or 6 times. I need to rest up, but I miss shooting so much that I think the rest will have to wait a bit.
Thank you John, Nick, Steve, and Chad for the comments. These pieces are fine English royal doulton china - a coffee cup and creamer. It is so thin that it is translucent in spots. If you look at the front edge of the cup near where the poured coffee is entering the cup - you can see the color of the coffee is bleeding through the side of the cup. Even though the coffee was extremely hot...it wouldn't steam for me.
