(Don't know how you did it. If I had to do it, I guess I'd try either making a hole on the underside of the bulb base and tap into the wires outside the envelope . Or, maybe remove the original bulb base, make fine insulated connections to the freed wires and then add a second separated false base with a notch in it to cover the change. Either way it would be delicate work.)

All i would say it that unless you are very happy about working with electricity this is quite a dangerous picture. My fingers were mm away from the 240v feed.
