I have the soft cover version and I can tell you, it is very very inspiring. I've read and re-read it several times now. That book, some books by John Shaw and also Lee Frost will be with me forever.

Looking on his website, the only ones available is the newer Art of Bird Photography II which is available on CD only. I really like reading books the "old school" way, i.e. on paper.
The original is being re-issued currently, 'though it may be soft cover; dont remember.
If you dont have Art of Bird Photography II, which only comes on CD/DVD, I'd strongly recommend it.

Arthur Morris takes some amazing bird photos.
Thats why I want one People have told me its a great book. Which of John Shaw's book do you like? I've read his "Nature Photography Field Guide" and it was great.

Cool, didn't notice that. There's a discount if you buy both and supposedly the new printing is arriving on October 20th. I think I'll just pick up both.

I heard him on TWIP recently and he said he is getting 5000 copies of the book reprinted as it has been disco'ed by the publisher...so he got the rights back and has reprinted it.....
