p.1 #1 · Engaged at last

Last Saturday was my Gorgeous Girlfriend's birthday. So I took her into Central London for a very Expensive meal and Proposed to her. Thankfully, she said a very delighted "YES!" (we were both crying our eyes out). The day after I took her to the jewellers so she could pick out her Ideal ring, but because her hands are so small, they had to order one in her size. Any way, the ring arrived at the Jewellers yesterday so I took her there this morning to pick it up.

As much c&c as possible would be most appreciated.
Many thanks for looking.

Liking the first one ...the second not so much...probably due to the hand being in focus...

I see what you mean there. That's the problem with only having the kit lens to work with. I'll see what i can do with a bit of PP to get the rest of the fingers out of focus more.

Many Thanks. Some c&c on the photography would be great though... anything at all?

I like the first as well. You've got a shot with good light fall-off outside of the box.

The second I would like better as a b&w conversion and maybe cropped more sq to get rid of the light area in the upper left-hand corner of the image. If you try to re-shoot this one, I would try a shot were more of the hand can be seen (especially the finger tips), but with selective focus on the ring.

Perfect Leo thanks.
Well I do have a monochrome version. See what you think.
