p.1 #1 · LR2 color issue. Please help!

For some unknown reason, All of the photos that I import into LR2 have somewhat of a yellow hue to them. In any other application the photos look fine. Even when I change the photo to grayscale, there is still a yellowish hue. When I export to another application, the colors are fine, or if i've made color adjustments in LR2, they end up being really cool.

I've uninstalled and re-installed the program and made sure the drivers for the monitor and graphics card were correct/compatible. The problem still exists.

This is really bugging me because I am not very experienced with software issues. It makes me not even want to shoot because I can't edit my photos when i'm done anyways. Any ideas?? Thanks in advance.

Knowing what platform you're using never hurts. I'm guessing Windows.

Are you shooting raw files? Do jpegs change color when you import them?

I think the issue is display related since the color is correct when you export.

When you are in the Import box, do you have anything besides "None" in the "Develop Settings" under "Information To Apply"?
In "Preferences" do you use the "Default Develop Settings"? If you don't you may want to try those.

go to adobe website and download the camera profiles (they are still beta) and follow the instructions for installing them. Until you do, all the conversions are really yellow/orange. You will then have several choices under the camera calibration tab, none are fantastic, but it is a huge improvement over what your looking at now.

Thanks for the help guys. I was able to get the colors right by removing my monitor's color profile (in color management) and replacing with the adobe color profiles. Works perfectly!!!
