Golden hours, although the last one I shot was pretty much from 3 til well after dark, albeit cloudy all day. you should learn how to shoot in all types of conditions, but try to schedule for the golden hours.

We actually try to do ours early on a Sunday morning. The light is ok then - but for us it isn't about light, which can be manipulated, but about making our couples as at ease as possible.
We tend to do urban sessions, around town, and early on Sundays there is no one around - so our couples feel a bit free-er to ham it up, and play for us.

"huh"... as in .. never thought of that haven't ever shot at that time.. maybe it's cause in downtown "urban" Tucson Arizona - from saturday morning til monday morning there's no one there... HA.
