I've been going over these over and over again and my faves are #3 for its deep colors and clean post-processing, and #8 for the star-shaped specular highlights and positioning.
Everyone's faves are all over the board with this one.
#17 is really hot too, its all about the composition with the taxi cab fender, but I think its held back somewhat; with a sexy pose like that I'd like to see more of her face. It would be even hotter if her foot was on the bumper, her leg showing.
Zerga ~ It was a 580 siting on a tripod with a PW. I believe both were shot at full power and f8~f11 was the choice. Thanks dude.
Tiger ~ Yes actually. Groom gave him a $5.
Maurice ~ I always suprised at the level of fluctuation in faves from everyone. Some loved 11, others seemed terrified. Funny. I post here as a buffer for my blog later. Whatever seems to get the most appreciation is placed as a pack leader for the rest of the images. 17 could have been awesome. Notice the very conservative dress on the bride, hence, no legs etc in the shot.
Very nice shots Sam...excellent colors and contrast.
My only nitpicks...for some reason #2 just isn't doing it for me. Not sure if it is the logo on her "behind," or just the composition...perhaps this from a wider perspective would make it better? Again, I'm probably just in the minority here.
And on #6, love the concept, but the painted vignetting looks strange to me. Did you create the egg shape for a reason? What would this look like with a more round vignette, or is there clutter in the corners that doesn't make this really an option?
