p.1 #1 · Could not find any insects :)

...so I tried to see what I could extract out of my water fountain with my new lens.

Think it woudl be a great effect in an sci-fi superhero movie for electricity man! Fun, clever idea.

Thanks everyone.

I am also trying to find beauty in the mundane as do many of you. Water has been done to death, so I figured to try something else in that stream shot.

By the way, that's a 100% crop. I will figure out how to reshoot it with a more Matrix'ish background and with a better resolution. The scene is constant, after all. I suppose I could do a green screen and composite, which could be fun.

This one is not uniformly sharp...But I think I have an excuse.

Flash Used: Yes
Exposure Time: 0.040 s (1/25)
Aperture: f/2.8
ISO equiv: 1600
Metering Mode: Matrix
Exposure: aperture priority (semi-auto)

Because the subject wasn't uniformly flat.

The non-macro shot is from a dance sequence.
