C&C would be very welcome, i dont get the chance to shoot good graffiti or artists very often but i shall bear any C&C in mind for when i do. (I now have a 40D when these were taken with a powershot A95 and i think my photograph has improved since these images.)
Great colors and composition with these! I've always felt that graffiti is one of the greatest forms of art in modern society. Of course, I mean the artistic stuff like this...it's nice that more outlets are popping up for artists to display their work legally. I've been down to the flood wall in St. Louis along the Mississippi - over 4 miles of graffiti!
Thankyou, the composition was definitely not great to start with so these have been fairly heavily cropped + Up-rezzed a bit for archival purposes. I just wish that the guy bending down in the 2nd picture had been caught by the shutterspeed, not quite though.
The Flood Wall sounds interesting, i shall have a google
Cheers

I'm intrigued by the flood wall as well -- thanks for the info Ryan. Rowan, your 'framing' of the photos with solid white borders is a subtle but, I feel, important intervention -- they make the colours pop! Nicely done.
Thankyou, i only started putting borders on because i had a couple of images used without being asked first and it was only because the people that used them were quite genuine that i got credit so i wanted to make sure that if it happened again i would get full credit.
The art is beautiful, colors pop; I would haved liked to see the artists' faces more though. Maybe a side profile, just to give the shots some more personality.
