Amazing shots ... hopefully some day I can get a big lens and give it a go.. There's a nice spot that borders a friends 100 acres that is a wildlife refuge (Bayou Meto), they flood it every winter... lots of waterfowl and bald eagles, but I can't get close enough.... Daddy needs a long lens.
Thanks for the comments and appreciate it very much. Long lens helps but you can get closer to the subject by using a blind too.

Harsha, some stunning pictures here. The first two grebes are wonderful but the one on the nest is simply stunning, a wonderful feel to this one. Colorings on the Pond Heron are gorgeous, very neat. The jackal has pretty coloring and looks to be quite ferocious too. Pretty easy to see where the name Open Bill comes from and the second in-flight shot is very very nice, nice blending with the BG. And I do like the crazy antics of your Little Egret, what a character.
Wonderful series, so nice of you to share with us this diversity.
