Russ - great work! What a amazing experience to have...reminded me of the Oregon/Oklahoma game, complete with controversy and everything (you should have heard the complaints locally here in Oregon about the pass interference call you got such a great shot of).
1, 2, 3, and 14 are my favorites. How fun would it be to shoot Utah in a BCS game?
Rob: Thanks. Not sure what you should be hoping for re: Nov 22! Either way I guess you're in for a good game. I know the scenario I'm wishing for...
Thanks, Caleb. Monster Monopod .''
Dave: I appreciate the comments. Yeah, I was looking for a different perspective and decided to go up into the stands on the main scoreboard end of the field. I figured it'd be nice to have the turf as a background, and to be able to use the longer glass for action in the red zone.
Chris: Thanks. I remember when you shot that game, one of your first if I remember correctly. No way around getting carried along by the excitement. As to the pass interference call, it seemed a no-brainer to me (I was just a few yards away), but then I didn't have the perspective to know whether the pass was catchable. With a hit that flagrant as the ball's in the air, however, I wouldn't expect the defense to get the benefit of that doubt. Still, since the ref who was closest to the play didn't throw his flag and the one who was at the corner did, I guess that speaks to the ambiguity of it....Shooting Utah in a BCS game would be a blast, but I've got no shot at that gig.
