Awesome use of shadow and color. Love the purple fringe and the background. This picture belongs in a Star Trek bowling alley

I love purple, and I love round shapes (as you can see from my entry). Terrific composition and lighting. As Andy Warhol said, "Art is whatever you can get away with." You're getting away with this nicely.

Excellent lighting Mike. Looks a little noisy for 100, but then again, I actually prefer 800 in print. Such a rich shade of purple, love it.

I wanted to pop in quickly and say thank you guys! If it were not for all of your inspiration and support, I honestly don't know if I would be shooting. Crazy as it may sound, the only time I pick up my camera is for the assignments. I will reply individually tomorrow as well as finish catching up on more of the entries I wanted to post on. My mom had surgery today. It's been a long week

A compelling combination of color. This really is the sum is greater than the parts - for me. I don't know what it is, but I know I really like it.

No guys, it's not a bowling ball. hehehe. Free your mind. It is the profile of a lonely soul sitting in the corner of a room with just their slumped over back peaking out of the shadows. The light falling gently across the shoulders, highlighting the deep purple, almost black body suit. Perhaps it is nothing more than the edge of a purple floodlight facing at you. You decide.

I enjoyed shooting with you guys this week. It helped take my mind off my worries. Thanks again everyone.

Sorry to hear about your mom Mike, I hope the surgery went well.
As for the image, it's excellent, having just enough detail to get the mind started, but not enough to hinder it.
