Here I go skipping along, missing this WA and that WA. And for what? Nothing, I tell ya. Nothing!!!

I love simple, and "Abstract" just cries simple!!! So here's my humble attempt at simplicity for this week's WA.

I agree, the shallow DOF work well here ... the softness of the leaves is very pretty and the lighting is gorgeous.

I appreciate the comments. I often feel guilty that I haven't been more involved with these WAs of late. Even when not posting my own entry I feel I should've been offering my comments to all the wonderful entries. And I'm sorry I haven't.

This shot is a macro of a new leaf sprouting from a bamboo plant I've had for years. The focused leaf is only about 2 inches long and less than 1/4 inch wide at the curl. When fully sprouted the leaf ends up about 8-10 inches long and 1 inch wide.
