p.2 #1 · Submitting work to Getty Images

so much info and mis-info. just call your editor at getty and ask him/her to send you submission guidelines. it will give you all the info you need. you also need to caption correctly and know what fields to fill out. if you are planning on submitting to a company you MUST already have a editor that accepted your work. it really is simple

Mis-info? He likely does not have an editor yet, read the post. My info is from personal experience, not form what I heard or read, do with it as you please or not.

Not sure about Getty, but Corbis accept 50MB 8bit TIFFs.
When it comes to resizing, they have specific guidelines (10% at a time).
Lately I came to a conclusion that if image is good enough they'll accept it, no matter the original file size. My top seller at Corbis is a 10MG crop from an original 24MB file resized to 50MB. It's paying for my next trip to India. LOVE CORBIS!!!
Good luck, Wojtek.
