Today Ken Hamada and I met down at BC and were greeted with an afternoon of Reddish Egret photo ops. We were lucky enough to see both Egrets (not together) doing what Egrets do. Joe, Doug, and Monte joined in on the session at various times. So here is a small sampling of Reddish Egret behavior. Not in any particular order.
Thanks
Tim
PLEASE just keep shooting this beautiful bird as well as you do and just keep posting - 4, 5, 6 are lovely, you think you've gotten to the best of the post, and then you get to that last one. Amazing shot -
Are you going to L.A. Arboretum again this week? If you do, will you let me know & maybe I can meet you there. Would love to go back to BC, but that would have to be over the weekend I think...... But then, maybe not.....
Killer shots--congrats on running into the reddish.
Sorry to hear that you ran into Ken too. We've set up a warning system for Ken sightings, piggybacking on the 'Amber' alert program. Sometimes, driving down the freeway, you'll see the overhead signs say 'Ken Alert: Ken Seen at BC', which will let you know to head over to HBCP or SJWS.

John -
Surely (don't call me Shorley!), you're referring to the "other Ken" (Mr. Zoom).
