Different approach.Might have more appeal with out the large area of white behind the subject..where did you get all those American Dollars in Denmark?

Beautiful shot! I love how you lit this. What surface was the glass sitting on and what kind of background did you use? Any other details about light and technique would be much appreciated, too. Now there are two shots of fruit falling into a water glass this week. Go check out Beverly Guhl's entry. Each is quite different. Excellent work.

Yes, 2 entries with fruit splashing into water... I think I'll take my pears, a glass of water, and re-shoot!

The setup was very simple: the glass was sitting on a black board (actually a shelf from a black book shelf); background was a piece of black paper (the background would go almost entirely black even without this) and the light was a flash from the left and slightly back from the subject (with a grid to narrow the beam).
