Hi Tom,
Great colours, spot on DOF, just goes to show that even a crabby apple can be made to look beautiful in the right hands.
Great shot, best of luck and take care

Nice refractions in the droplets, intense colors!
We have a crab apple tree in our yard, but its fruit remains green when ripe.
Thank you for your comments and looking at my entry. I did get my feet wet taking the photo but it gave me a better appreciation for the color and light that was magnified by the rain drops.
Best of luck to you.

Thank you Mark. The tree is outside our home office window and it has brought so much fun as we watch rain, ice and birds enjoy the fruit.
Thanks for viewing my entry.

Nice shot, Tom! I especially love the little bit of green reflected in the drop of water. We haven't see you around in awhile. I hope all's been well.
All best wishes,
Endre
Andre,
Thanks for taking the time to comment on my entry. It has been a long time away from WA. The thing called work gets in the way, but I am not complaining. The automotive world that I work and play in has been going through some challenges as you probably are aware of. Taking photos and keeping current with WA is such a fun thing to do and something I need to get back into. Too much work and not enough play is not a good thing.
Best of luck to you this week,
Tom
I really like the feel you have captured with the shot and the water drop is very nice. Good luck this week,

Steve,
Thanks for taking the time to comment on my entry. The water drops are real rain drops and not a sprinkler The feel of the photo probably comes from me getting wet in the rain as I attempted to hold a white flash umbrella over my head in one hand and my camera with the other.
Thanks again,
Tom
