I don't think you will get much response. Once people get that lens they tend to hold on to it. I should know.

I was able to buy one in the lower 3k range. It had a few scuffs and seller was tired of having buyers complain about the small marks as buyers felt it should be perfect. Some people need a lens to be perfect, I don't. It is a tool for me so I was very willing to accepts scuffs with the reduced price so I could afford it. I typically see them priced in the low 4's though. Even just finding one is rare.
