Lovely shot, Bill! You've managed to make fruit cake look almost appetizing and that's really an achievement. It's always been my theory that there is only one fruit cake in the entire world and it gets passed around from person to person as a gift that no one really wants. I guess it's currently found ti's way to Australia. Anyway, very well done.
Thanks for commenting everyone. Although I'm happy with the technical quality, I think it's a tad plain and boring. I may change my submission as I have thought of another possible image to place here.

Bill, there is a fruit cake to die for made by monks. Holy Cross is the brand - I think...must check with the wife. These monks "feed" the fruit cake weekly with brandy drizzled over the top...after a year...then they sell them. Incredible taste, and only a fool would re-gift one of these treasures. Great shot of this "food," as I hate the taste of this the few times I have tried to eat it, my predisposition is to not like it, but this shot really highlights it. Very nice work. Good luck this week,
