My first WA entry, mostly for fun and to show off my favorite "antique"
This was an actual team practice ball, from the early '60's, signed by the team, with one prominent signature still legible.

Hi Barry! Welcome to the WA. I don't do as much macro as I would like to. With short DOF you have to pick your point of interest carefully. I like that you chose the threads. It gives me something to focus on right off the bat! <- hee hee no pun. Nicely presented. Thanks for sharing!
Love the simplicity of this photo. But I think I'd prefer to have the entire baseball in focus. The shallow DoF emphasizes the stiches, but I want to see the aged texturing of the entire ball.

Koufax was amazing. One reason that a lot of New Yorkers, not just Brooklynites, remained Dodgers fans after they "defected" to LA.
