p.1 #1 · Photosynth...anyone tried it ?

Well, it's all in the title. I figured that this is sort of a landscape photographer's thing, so that's why the thread is in here. Anyone given it a go ? First impressions ?

First, doesn't work on macs. Second, it's very, very, very, very cool. Although it's not really 'new', I've been reading about this/ seeing demo's for a few years now, to see it really working is impressive.

I've had a play of it in the early stages when it would take MS days to build a snyth, but haven't revisited it recently. Cool application if you can cut down on the time to build it...would be great to build walk throughs of things - like say a museum or something.

This doesn't really have anything to do with post processing (maybe you're thinking literally, that it's 'post' capture?)... it could actually be pretty valuable to some (architecture/cityscape shooters for example, or people traveling to paris for another).
