I've never posted a photo here before, so I hope this works. I'm honestly a bit nervous, as I've never really shared my photos before. Took this early morning on 14 Mile Island, Lake George, NY.
I think it's beautiful. Makes me wanna buy a canoe... or at least borrow one. I can't decide if I would prefer it rotated slightly to the left to straighten the dock or rotated to the right to exaggerate the angle or just left alone. Nice capture, nonetheless.

And, welcome to your first posting to our MA. Personally, I wouldn't change a thing. IMHO, it's absolutely wonderful. Serene, calm, quiet, and simply lovely. It's a super capture, and you should be very proud to post it.
I like the crop, and colors...your perspective is interesting. The reflection of the trees in the water without actually showing the trees is something I really like.....and I love the stillness of the water. Great sharpness of detail on the rope....I can't find a single thing to critique.

Thanks edge. I would have liked some more room on top too actually, but unfortunately, the mainland was right there so it didn't quite work for me.

Thanks Bill. Those that cannot or will not get up early should make or borrow a baby - I know an 8 month old who is available early mornings... It has become my favorite part of the day though.
