Thanks Dan, I knew he messed up that title! Based on this title my worthless review as follows:
#1 Great color depth, non-existent feel of flash, love the form of this flower,the light streak in the BG actually seems to be a beam from the flower, nice touch Ant
#2 Pretty if I can say that to you, Cosmo flower, great rich pink and yellow only slightly suffering from the oof foreground petals
#3 All the right efforts made, just the subject and BG doesn't please me on this one
#4 Flash looks good, gave good form to these petals, pretty flower, would like to see a slightly tighter crop on the top.
#5 Again a pretty cosmo, perhaps just a slight backing off to see the whole flower and let the green support it
Processing is wonderful, pleasing and not overdone IMO which is worthless. It would have been easy to say these are great, that they are, just the little nits for what they are worth to someone who called this a 'massacre'

thanks for the comment and thoughts on the shots my friend. The crops can be arranged differently as none of these are full frame shots. I'll definitely give a look at some crop changes and see how they look. I really flopped a few of these around in the comps. A few of them are Really flopped around and re arranged from the original shot. I just kind of went with the flow...........
Well after the buttbzz flight shots I figured I was going to get hammered on this one. I am still waiting for David Earls to show up though..... SO I'm not out of the woods yet
I also wasn't sure how the flash would go over as it seemed to be the primary light source on a few of these shots. I wasn't sure how that would be received either.................
Anthony these are all great. The first is my favourite but it feels a little crowded. Great use of a very subtle flash on these. Rob
Thanks Rob. I'll give one another look at the comp. Multiple comments on the crop. I really liked this one and thought it had plenty of room but I guess I'll see what pops up in PP with another look.

1 Oh this is my fav of the bunch, this was is perfect in just about every way.
2, 3 are just OK to me, I like them but they need more room
4 is nice too, I sure with I could see the EXIF on these, I think this one was a little higher f it looks to be almost all in focus.
5 yep, that one is nice too, I like the little pollen dust on the petals.
So, I give this score out of 10,

A lot of comments on 1 crop to tight. I tried it wider originally and liked this better. We think alike on this shot! I may look at it again as I flipped it around a bit and it's actually a rotation of the original shot. I hid the stem on the edge of the crop but the shot is completely turned and rotated in orientation.
2 and 3..... Thanks for your thoughts on these as they are also crops. I really liked comp two but still don't like 3 - I really struggled with a comp

They are all excellent pictures. A little patience and the right tools go a long way.
The first shot is simply awesome and I am not saying the others are not because I like them all.
Visual design and colors are excellent also.

Thanks for the kind comment and glad you liked them. The images are displayed in full size on the web page you are viewing. Most posts have a file size of 174kb or so and are around 800 px on the longest side. Some vary up to 1000px on the longest side. So your seeing it all
