All of our family that lives locally decided to take a vacation at the beach near us and I managed to take a few shots. Go easy on me, I usually post in the sports area

Nice work Joe, and welcome to the N&W forum. I like the skimmers in the surf shot and the backlit skimmer shots have a certain uniqueness to them you don't often see around here. Oh, you give good grass too

The good time is what it is all about, and the bonus is what you can capture and share with others. Glad you jumped over to share, I like your tandem skimmer shot, nice soft rolling surf and a gentle gliding of the skimmers. Also like your peli shot on the departure rolling out and turning left the water and edge of the surf looks very cool. The sea oats are a nice mini series of their own.

Welcome to N&W. Nice intro with the skimmers, which are probably my favorite bird to photograph. They are so fast and agile that even when you can't get shots of them they're amazing to watch.
