I was fortunate to be able to go down to Tyler, Texas from San Diego, Ca. to look at a project for Johnny Bravo, who is the CFO of a major firm and a fine photographer. These were taken in the few hours between my work schedule at Tyler State Park where I was fortunate to find these guys. Hope you enjoy them and thanks for any C&C you might have. They are all firsts for me.

Chris, good to see you out at Bolsa Chica yesterday. So THESE are the Tyler, Texas shots you were talking about. Good shooting, particularly those Scissortails. #s 8 and 9 are awesome with 9 being my fave of the lot, but #3 Redhead BIF is really sweet.
Chris, this was an enjoyable post, each click down thru the shots produced a great shot! I must say, that first RHWP is a beauty, as I see it the white tail is too hot but the pose and BG is superb #3 the leap and snatch is killer! Oh my those scissor tails are simply gorgeous, what a great series, and that they are firsts for you is rewarding

KarlThank you, Karl. I think I tried to dummy down that white a bit but not enough. They were tough to expose for sure. Sure enjoyed watching this pair working to feed their youngster.
