I have some 8 1/2 by 11- 300dpi jpegs that need to be upsized to poster size. I have Photoshop CS2.
Can someone recommend the best way to increase the size and maintain clarity?
(technique, products?)
Thanking you in advance.

If you're going to print them yourself, the best method/product is probably
Qimage
. It's well worth having in any event if you do a lot of printing.
If you're sending them out, most print shops will tell you to leave them alone and let them upsize them.

Thanks Nill,
A friend of mine recommended Genuine Fractals 5, do you know how Qimage compares with that?

How did you come by your 8-1/2 x 11 images? Did you convert or did someone give you an existing jpg?

Quickest way is to open in PS and simply go Image>Image Size and then UNCHECK "resample image" and then change the resolution number until your physical dimensions (inches) match.

At least as good, perhaps better, and much more versatile.
