Yes, Doug.. I would say that is close up... at first I thought it was GBH up close, and when you are expecting to see a heron and an owls eyes greet you, its quite a shock, let me tell you. These have great detail. Well done.
It makes easier to take some great pics of a GHO you jusy saw if you have the camera with you. Great job, Doug, you gor some sharrp detail, and some very nice colors.

Doug, these are great, thank you for posting them. I do agree with the comment about the oversharpened look on some of them, but they are really stunning pictures. Great shooting.

I was definitely surprised that it was a GHO that came out of the grasses, I was expecting a Redtail. Thanks for the nice comments.
