The dome ceiling covering the senate chambers in the Romanian Parliament building...second largest building in the world (second only to the Pentagon)...at least that's what the tour guide told us! (EXIF data shows camera on Pacific time).
I wish I had had more time to play with lower ISO, but was limited to handheld and very brief amount of time in the room.
I didn't realize it either...and it is relatively new...during the communist era, Ceauşescu ordered 30,000 homes and 19 churches to be destroyed to make room for this building...starting construction in 1984. It was only about half done during the revolution in 1989 and Ceauşescu's execution.
