Thanks so much, Bill. That has to be the fastest response I've ever gotten on a photo. I think it was within two minutes of my posting it. I'm so glad you like it!. And, for your information, Eva didn't fall of!
All the best,
Endre

Well balanced indeed Endre. Hope she didn't fall off. Another fine entry.
Thank you Carrol! I'm delighted that you like it so much! More often than not people shooting photos of such violins position them so that there are no hot spots or reflections. So, it's rare to get to see the lovely way the varnis reflects things.
All best wishes,
Endre

WONDERFUL !!
Very nice composition and overall image... and LOVE the reflection of the bridge!

I like the idea, and the composition. The reflection of the umbrella is a nice touch, but Eva's reflection is conspicuously absent. I know getting the feet right is very difficult, and you did really well. I like it Endre...is this one part of the series?
Thanks for the kind words, Jim, my friend! No, this isn't part of the "Eva And the Magic Umbrella" series. For that, the conceit is that I will always use the same little photo of Eva in her bare feet underneath that big blue umbrella in varying background scenes. Eva couldn't be reflected because that reflection is hidden by the solid fingerboard. Only a bit of her right arm and the green umbrella are over the reflective part of the violin.
Fond regards,
Endre

Thanks so much Andrew-Bede, my friend! I'm so glad you like it! Yes, Eva is very light on her feet. We started her walking on the strings of lesser violins before allowing her to walk on the strings of the Strad.

Like it Endre! Very original and delightful. Eva must be very gentle to be allowed near the Strad!
Thanks so much, Nick, my friend! I'm so glad you like it! There wasn't that much to it. All I did was set the violin on the table and let Eva walk up and down on the strings while I shot away.
Fond regards,
Endre
