Considering the gear some people have, this was bound to happen sooner or later. I might as well be the first... This is a pair of inexpensive studio umbrellas, with the covers removed for diffuse mode and shot towards the flashes through the umbrellas. The a little work with Photoshop and there you have it. They remind me of jellyfish in a dark sea...
